The last step is to cut out things and people who have a neutral or negative influences in your life. This could be your job, certain friends, or sometimes even family members you need a break from. You can eventually try to re-integrate them, but your priority right now is your own personal happiness.
Friend or partner break-up
Whether you need to take a break from a boyfriend, girlfriend or a friend, it’s important to have an upfront conversation. It’s the respectful thing to do.
Identify things that don’t contribute positively to my life (then take them off your calendar)
Invite those friends to coffee and explain why you “need a break”; be honest.
